Guardianage agreement for

  1. Vessels are kept close to shore in Vlicho bay with two lines ashore and stern anchor out. These lines are checked weekly and constantly during bad weather. Vessels are generally moored in groups and joined at the bow, stern and spring lines. We use our own lines and anchors and we will berth all yachts ourselves.
  2. Vessels will be opened and checked weekly for water ingress, battery condition, damage and engine run if owner requires.
  3. During adverse weather conditions the vessels are regularly monitored and any necessary emergency measures carried out, such as placing extra lines, fenders or moving the vessel.
  4. Owners should ensure their vessels are adequately insured whilst left in our care. We do not provide cover. We hold no responsibility for loss or damage to your vessel or its equipment whatsoever.
  5. While we ensure good care is taken to ensure your vessel is safe and secure we can not be held responsible for any damage or theft from your vessel.
  6. Guardianage is carried out assuming your vessel to be in good condition and seaworthy. We will not be held liable for damage caused due to poor condition of the vessel or failure of equipment or engines.
  7. In the event of any emergency work being necessary to make your vessel secure this will be carried out as soon as possible, this  may involve the owner not being contacted. The owner will be liable for the reasonable costs of such work.
  8. Please label all warps and fenders with the name of your boat. Whilst we try to keep theses with your vessel during bad weather we may swap fenders to protect your and other vessels from damage. Labelling also deters possible theft.
  9. Unless you asked us to put equipment away ( charge will apply ), please ensure everything removable apart from fenders and wraps are stored away.
